Hotel Pragati

The hotel is very cheap in price. We stayed for the night only. Though the location is good the rooms need maintenance. The cupboards are very old. The bathrooms are clean. The support staff and reception is ok.

Overall review : Had the worst experience staying in this Hotel .. just an absolute waste of money ... This building is quite old and has a lot of physical damages right from the lobby . They charge INR 1200 for this room usually sold for 900 bucks and then said " we can't refund since you paid online " . We booked the deluxe room but when we asked they said there'snt any 😂🙄. No showers , No Toiletries, Nothing... Their washroom is just dilapidated and seems like it was built in the pre historic era 🫠

Hotel Pragati offers a number of budget AC and Non-AC rooms to render a comfy and homelike feel.Pick up and drop facility from railway station and bus stand is also provided for convenience of the guests.

The person at the reception was very very accommodating and helpful with early check-in. That was the best part and probably the only good part about the hotel. The property is poorly maintained and staff is not very customer oriented except for the reception. The rooms have dampness. In our case, the last occupants had smoked cigarettes- the butts were in the bin still and the room had smoke-stink. The towels were old and did not seem clean. The washroom had cobwebs and mirror was not clean. All in all- there got to be better places to stay in Rudrapur.

This hotel is ok to stay in rudrapur at affordable prices. Staff person is good. Hotel is in awas vikas which is about 1km from rudrapur bus stand. But food prices feels a bit costly because it doesn't tastes so pretty. You could cheap food shops nearby. Rooms are ok but hotel staff need some more attention to clean them. Towel, soap and drinking water is supplied to guests like other hotels. Mosquitoes found inside the rooms, which is not acceptable in any hotel which is charging so much for one night stay. . Bed sheet smells stale. Room service and laundry service must take care of this issue.

Budget AC hotel for people which need basic amenities and creature comforts. Cost is variable, we got it for 750 for 2 bed. Room could be little cleaner. A fresh coat of paint will be better. Furniture outdated so is the electricals, but does its job alright.
