Extremely disappointing experience. We were traveling with a small Shih Tzu puppy (under 2 months) and a 3-month-old kitten. Upon arrival, we were suddenly told that pets are not allowed, but there was no sign or mention of this anywhere — not on the website, not at the entrance, nowhere. When we tried to explain, the staff behaved very rudely and said we could leave the hotel if we had a problem. Despite asking multiple times, they refused to let us speak to the manager, even though he was present on the property. One staff member even insultingly told us to "leave both the pets outside in the garden and have your meal comfortably" and added, "We are not responsible for anything that happens to them." This kind of unprofessional, insensitive, and disrespectful behavior is completely unacceptable. If you’re a pet owner or simply expect basic decency, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

This review is just for their kastoori restaurant. There is Senseless staff behaving worse than illiterate persons. Waiters are answering in a manner like they don't need customers. Manager is also like them not looking into the matters at all.Food quality is like ok ok but In Kannauj there are no more other better options for family dinners that's why everyone is going there. Kannauj needs just 2 or 3 more family friendly hotels then they will understand how to deal with customers.

I can’t believe how disappointing this place is! As travel and food bloggers who've been to countless restaurants across India and abroad, we had high hopes for this spot after two visits in the last three years. But it seems like the management just doesn't care or improve over time. Honestly, it's appalling how little they've done to fix the glaring issues here.||Let me break it down:||1. Food Quality: The food was absolutely disgusting! The taste was awful, and it reeked like rancid oil. How is this even allowed? It’s beyond me. | |2. *Dal Tadka Disaster: We ordered Dal Tadka, and it was practically inedible. The dal was half-cooked, and there was no trace of the usual tempering (tadka). I've had better dal at street vendors. This was the worst I’ve ever had.||3. Prices Are Insane: The prices here are outrageously high considering the poor quality of the food and the location. You’re basically paying for bad food and slow service at a premium. Complete rip-off.||4. Slow Service: Waiting an hour for food? That’s ridiculous! How does it take that long to prepare something so basic? Completely unacceptable.||5. False Advertising on Water:| They claim they’re serving “RO water,” but it’s non-filtered tap water. They’re straight-up lying to customers. Who does that?||6. Rude and Unhelpful Staff: When I complained about the food, they just shrugged it off and said, “This is how we prepare it.” Seriously? No effort to address customer concerns? The staff is cold and unwelcoming.||I really wanted to give this place a chance, but after two visits and zero improvement, I’m done. Don't waste your time or money here. This place doesn't deserve the business it’s getting!

I visited Kastoori Restaurant. Staff behaviour and services were top notch. Hygiene was absolutely amazing. I believe the food quality can improve. The portions of each dish were sufficient for 2, in fact half plate gravy satiated our hunger and was still sufficient for 2 more people!

For Place like kannauj it is very good. Do not expect too much.. Highien and cleanliness is an issue. Marriage garden is also in the same property so it may be disturbing
