I recently stayed at hotel that unfortunately fell short of expectations due to poor maintenance. Upon entering the room, I was struck by a musty odor, suggesting it hadn’t been aired out properly. The carpet was stained in several places, and there were scuff marks on the walls that had clearly been there for some time. The furniture felt worn and dated, with a chair that had a noticeable tear in the upholstery. The bathroom was another disappointment; the shower had low water pressure, and the grout around the tiles was discolored and moldy. Additionally, the toiletries provided were minimal and appeared to be leftovers from previous guests. While the location was convenient, the lack of attention to detail in the room made for an uncomfortable stay. It’s clear that this hotel needs a significant refresh to meet even basic expectations for cleanliness and maintenance. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until improvements are made.
