Hotel Saryu (Rahi Yatri Niwas)

We stayed at hotel Saryu for a night and had a comfortable experience. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well maintained. The highlight was definitely the food—the restaurant serves delicious meals, and the dining staff were especially warm and courteous. The location is excellent, offering a nice view of the river. Ram Mandir and the railway station are both just about 15 minutes away, which makes it very convenient. The only downside was the receptionist, who came across as a bit arrogant and not very welcoming. However, the overall experience was still positive. Would definitely recommend this place for its great food, clean and spacious rooms, and easy access to key landmarks in the city.

This government facility is located just at front of Saryu River, at a very good location. Rooms are very spacious and large but bathrooms need to be cleaned properly. Food is very delicious and like homemade. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay.

The hotel is very good and location also. The reason I gave 3 stars because when I booked the hotel through MMT, it was mentioned in the list of amenities that elevator / lift was available. However when we checked in, we were informed that elevator/lift is not available and that our room was on the 2nd floor. I was really shocked as my 77 year old mother was with me and she cannot walk or climb stairs at all. I had no choice but to pay extra and shift to a suite on the ground floor. However we had very good stay and the icing on the cake was that there was no rush at all at Ram Mandir and Hanuman Garhi.

Hotel Saryu (Saryu Atithi Griha) is located near Sant Tulsidas Ghat with river views and close to key sites like Ram Janmabhoomi and Hanuman Garhi, easily accessible by toto or golf cart. The AC deluxe room is spacious with a large balcony, but lacks amenities like complimentary water, tea/coffee, hand towels, and a mirror. The food options are limited and basic, with a simple breakfast offering. Despite these drawbacks, Jagveer Ji in the kitchen was very helpful. Overall, it's a decent option for a stay in Ayodhya, with a great location and spacious rooms.||i booked my stay with yatradham.org and i must suggest you to book your stay too.

A Peaceful Retreat by the Saryu. The hotel offers spacious, clean rooms with comfortable bedding. The bathrooms were well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant stay. The location, right on the banks of the Saryu River, is both serene and convenient. It's close to key attractions while maintaining a peaceful ambiance. The restaurant served delicious, homely food that exceeded expectations. Overall, a wonderful experience.

We booked a suite, and while the room and location were good, the hospitality was extremely poor. The breakfast options were also disappointing, with only paratha and daliya served. In particular, the receptionist, Ms. Nisha Gupta, displayed unacceptable behavior that completely ruined our stay experience. She misbehaved with us over a mere 15-minute delay in checkout, despite knowing that we had a booking for the same hotel that day. When she called, I politely requested 10-15 minutes to freshen up and was about to step out to inform them personally, but instead, they continuously knocked on the door, even though our baby was sleeping. Despite explaining the situation on the call, she still misbehaved. And when I mentioned that I’d take this up with her senior, she suddenly flipped and started playing the victim. This clearly shows how a single person can ruin the image of the entire hotel they represent My wife and I are both extremely unhappy with our stay. Had we known this earlier, we would have never booked for another day. If you value good hospitality, avoid staying here unless she is not at the reception otherwise, expect the worst welcome and stay experience.

We booked a deluxe room, which was spacious and equipped with all amenities. The hotel is located right next to the Saryu River, making it a very pleasant and well-maintained place to stay. However, at this price point, an electric kettle should have been provided. Apart from that, I didn’t encounter any other issues. Restaurant is also available and food was delicious.
