Went for tea and used rest room. Tea coffee below average. Snacks good. Rest room... Unhygienic. If u cannot maintain cleanliness please.....

During a recent trip to Thiruvarur, we chose to stay at Selvis. Its easily accessible from the railway station, bus stand and the local temple. Being a pilgrimage centre, they boast of a separate vegetarian restaurant. Pricing is moderate and the fare was decent. The hotel also offers venues for corporate affairs, family functions and also has a couple of bars, one indoor and another on the rooftop. Room service was apt. The front office staff need to work on their knowledge about local facts. While the rest of the property's upkeep was good, the front office was shabby.

Housekeeping staff needs to be more attentive in clearing used food plates kept on the walk path and stairs for a longer period. Front office staff are very courteous and a professional team . Best Wishes for the hotel management.

The room booked for me was ultra deluxe with the entry time as 6 PM. Upon reaching the hotel by 6:30 pm, I was asked to stay in an small room saying my booked room is getting cleaned. It took them 3 hours to allot my booked room. To the worst there was no update room the reception guys for almost 2 and half hours during this waiting time. Only when I shouted, they alloted the booked room. The lame excuse was, it's the duty shift time. Next frustrating incident was, the room was wet and recently mopped with phenol. The smell was stinky and the floor sticky. When complained, the room boy came and applied room spray. No mosquitoe nets in the windows and bathroom. Was everyone will the accompanied with variety of insects in the night. The window curtain had a big hole having munched my rats. Rooms are not cleaned everyday unless requested so are the toiletries. This is the way they manage ultra deluxe room. There is nothing ultra or nothing deluxe in those rooms. My room was booked for 4 days, but on the second day and third day (twice) I was disturbed by the male receptionist in the evening asking when am vacating despite I have entered the details in their register. I wonder how any any management appoint such irresponsible candidates as receptionist ( am referring to two male who are working in the evening) The only best thing is food when ordered is delivered fast to the room ( I had only dinner). Taste is also reasonably good for south Indian food items.

I stay here whenever i visit tiruvarur, 4 times i have stayed so far. Each time i complain about 'No hangers'(hangers fixed against wall) in rooms, which makes us embarrassed. Despite of complaining to management, they fail to fix it. They also justify saying nobody else complained of 'Hanger' so far, i being the 1st with issue is quite strange. I even had complaint on food served to room and the way it was serviced in restaurant, while my last visit. Staff their need to be professional, which is lacking all the time. Otherwise it's descent to stay there with ample of parking space, and also budget friendly. The new GM has promised for improvement in rooms and their services, need to see how it's going to be, while my next trip. Best part of this hotel is that, it's just a mile away from "thiyagaraja temple" !

Centerly located but rooms are currently being refurbished hence not great! No 4g network inside rooms..only 5g Food is okay but not expensive Rooms can be better for the price Ample parking space

Located close to the old Thirivarur bus stand,is a old hotel with AC restaurant and a small marriage hall. Rooms are neat and clean. Parking for cars is at the back side and open. Feels unsafe.

I visited to attend a function. Halls are of different size and service is good. Ambience is nice. Parking facility for Four Wheelers and Two Wheelers available. Overall Good.
