Thiru Pavilion Retreat

The biggest disappointment during my stay was the behavior of the reception staff. Instead of being welcoming and helpful, they were rude, impatient, and unprofessional. A hotel’s first impression starts at the reception, and sadly this one was very negative. Management should seriously work on improving the attitude and training of the front desk staff, as this completely spoils the guest experience.

The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the same area. Location is good, it is in the othavadai street and close to all the spots you would want to visit.

Very nice hotel properly maintained and managed, rooms are clean. Nothing to complain about. Chose a room that does not have windows in front of the neighbor hotel, people can be very noisy at night which the hotel is not responsible but can prevent from sleeping. Rooms with balcony in front of lake are super nice.

Very worst experience , we booked two rooms ac not working , parking was not good As they have one line parking ,staff was always yelling at us , they didn't even gave 1 hour grace period for us to vacate, very bad experience , if you take children's avoid this hotel at any cost.

Had a good experience staying here. I will definitely recommend it. - Parking is available inside the compound (limited) as well as in front of the hotel. Lifts available. - Very courteous staff and it is great to see women taking charge at the reception. Felt safe staying here and this is very important. I wish all hotels will take Thiru Pavilion as an example to learn how to treat customers well and make them feel safe. - Walkable distance from key attractions. - Small but clean rooms. - Bathroom became slippery after shower. So you have to be careful. - Courteous and responsive staff. - No inhouse restaurant. But many tiffin centres and famous seafood restaurants are in the same road. Thank you to the staff for the memorable stay.

Positive : The hotel is located very well within the places of tourist attraction. Main staffs are friendly but not helpful. Negative : The cleanliness of hotel is not up to the mark. The rooms are not well maintained , bed linens are not very clean. Hotel management has to understand that cleanliness is not a matter of price always but an overall habit of people maintaining the property.

My recent summer vacation 🏖 with family👪was most memorable at this property sharing my experience rooms were affordable well maintained with proper hygiene and washrooms were well equipped with modern facility 24 hrs hot water and good shower after beach🏖 it's a must! Staff were very friendly, property located near the beach and close to all tourist places. Ample car parking and lifts are also available safe and secured like home. Despite we arrived at 2 am check in was good. Room was clean and comfortable. The location is good close to restaurant and with three main sites at walking distance. Good value for money it was the perfect place for a short stop at mahabalipuram.
