If you're looking for a budget-friendly stay, this place fits the bill. *The toilet facilities are average, so don't expect anything too clean. *However, the highlight for me was its proximity to Mahabalipuram Beach. Being right next to the beach made it easy to catch the beautiful sunrise in the morning. *Perfect for those who prioritize location over luxury.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sathis Guest House in Mahabalipuram, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat after a long day of sightseeing. The guest house is conveniently located, making it easy to explore the beautiful attractions of Mahabalipuram. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality of the staff – they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable, providing helpful recommendations for local spots and ensuring I had everything I needed. I was also impressed with the serene ambiance of the guest house, which made for a perfect getaway. First of all I have to say that the room we got while arriving had nothing to see with all the pictures we saw on internet. We booked it through booking and the only pictures of the rooms were a fancy AC ones, with balcony, sea view, super clean etc. We were shocked when we saw that our room was dark, humid, there was no warm water in the washroom and they don't provide drinking water (we were expecting at least a filtered one). BUT the worst thing is that we couldn't sleep at all during the nights because there were people talking and shouting around (inside the guesthouse) we were also hearing someone watching the TV full power all night. Also, the "double bed" was two completely different beds put together. One was more hard and higher than the other so that made it uncomfortable. It is a pitty because the place could be super nice.

Good room near the beach. But not clean. If they clean the guest house frequently that would be good. Budget price rooms are available. Spending time in the terrace at night is a great experience. Receptionist is very helpful.

This property is right next to the beach. It's also very close to the main tourist attractions in Mahabalipuram. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hot water is available 24*7. Easy access to the beach.
