Revaas Boutique Hotel

Nice hotel with large rooms but for us the location was not ideal as it is absolutely outside the city and quite isolated. The room itself on first impression seemed good but then it came to light it was not clean, particularly the bathroom. We brought this to the attention of the reception and to their credit a team of three was sent to clean but evidently they are not well trained as their cleaning ability was marginal. The restaurant at the hotel (one’s only option as the hotel is in a very residential) is good and the supper we had was delicious. Breakfast was also good. Needless to say we moved down to the old city where there was much more life and other options for eating. The staff were very polite and friendly. Clearly though, our European standards differ and if you are not particularly concerned with cleanliness this is a very satisfactory hotel. I hope that my criticism will be taken as it is meant, constructively and have positive effect on the quality of cleanliness. The remoteness cannot be changed.

Pleasantly surprised by the Revaas!! Very neat and clean common area (I cannot say the same of the rooms- there was thick dust and grime on all the windowsills)?. The rooms were expansive and tastefully done. The furniture and bed really made the room look like 5 stars.(The mattress was too soft and was so depressed on the right side, that the next day we requested, the HK staff to turn it around) The staff was very accommodating BUT they needed training? Excellent set of boys who want to serve better but don't know how to? The view from the terrace is awesome especially with a floodlight cricket match in progress. The breakfast was adequate. Location is quiet but in the back of beyond or in the Boondocks?

Pros: None, May be the size of the room Cons: 1. We were made to wait because rooms were getting ‘cleaned’ only to find out that that the room was dirtier than an average used room and we had to call the cleaners multiple times before they came and did a shitty job. 2. The duvet was wet, when I got into the bed. Again after multiple calls 3 people came to change 1 duvet and changed the cover. 3. The food taste was abysmal. Ordered Maggi and noodles only to eat liquid noodles 4. The room was not cleaned even once in our two days stay. 5. There was too much plumbing noise from adjacent rooms. Both late in the night and early in the morning. 6. Called reception to get the room cleaned only to hear the cleaning only happens between 2-5pm but then also no one came. 7. The other guests were too noisy, specially with kids running around and barging into our rooms. No decorum at all. Avoid at all costs.

It is in isolated location and nothing to do or eat nearby. Room we had (we were told we got upgraded!)came with no views and there was loud noise from the bathroom of the next room that kept us waking up at night. Food is below average and they struggle to keep the tables clean or food in buffet filled when there is crowd. They are not accommodating to any of the guest requests (they denied change of rooms or extended checkout and did not even care to say they tried at least)

An amazing stay at best price with big rooms and bathroom too. Best part, you can carry your own liquor. You can have complimentary breakfast with room booking, however breakfast is not that great. This property has a pool on the roof, the pool is small, it can accommodate 2-3 people at once. You can have your drinks on the roof top and enjoy pool view too.

Its an amazing place to stay in udaipur. Food and room services were great. Roof top pool is must enjoyable. The place is quiet and peaceful. N location is also good. Would recommend this place.

The hotel is pretty good, and I like the spacious rooms specially. Just a genuine concern, they should work upon their swimming pool maintenance. The water in the pool was turbid and the impurities were quite visible. Overall, stay was pretty comfortable!

We're a group of 18 friends with our families, checked in to this hotel tonight. We all had dinner and it was the worst ever we had. When we complained about the same, a owner's friend walked in and ordered us to "vacate right now". This was the treatment to the Senior Citizen Engineers who held upto Board Level posts in their Organisations like Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. We wonder whether that gentle(?)man had come to help the owner or spoil his business.
