Sun N Moon was the perfect hostel for my girlfriend and I to stay at during our short stay in Pushkar. The rooms were large and clean, and all the amenities were very well kept. The hospitality from the staff, specifically the manager was very comforting. The food from the restaurant situated on the roof of the Hostel was incredible! And they even gave us free chai upon our arrival.|||| -- I unfortunately got very sick with a fever during my visit there, but the manager gave me such great care and did her absolute best to nurse me back to health. Such a loving and beautiful family owns this hostel and really makes you feel at home here... Highly recommend.

I have stayed here in 2014 and 2016 each time for a week. Rooms spotless, bathrooms clean. The service from the owners excellent. The lady owner can come across pushy to do henna but just politely say no if you not keen, she is just being friendly and attentive. Her cooking on the roof terrace is excellent. Best place to eat in pushkar! I have never been ill eating there. A real gem of a hotel. Good price.

We have booked four rooms during December 2016. The rooms are good and spacious enough having all basic amenities. The hotel has a nice rooftop restaurant and a long terrace. The owners are really nice person and very much helpful. Food quality is good with reasonable price. The good thing is that the hotel is located on the main market, which is also a disadvantage for the hotel as car will not go to the hotel front. however, the hotel owners have arranged auto-rickshaw for us to transfer our luggage from the car parking place to the hotel.

Clean, tidy, and close to the market, this guest house is going through a fairly ambitious expansion programme which the owner has had to pause due to high building costs. So the new rooms are very clean and spacious (though a bit lacking in character) but the place has a kind of half finished air - not helped by the fact that I was the only person staying there! Go with friends if you can. Agree with other reviewers that the owner can appear a bit diffident when she is in fact very nice: she gave me great advice about the dangers of straying too close to the touts around the lake and even awarded me my personal good luck charm!

We went to the rooftop cafe for drinks and loved it. The view was incredible, the lady who runs the hotel was so friendly, and chatted with us for a long time. She even did henna for us. Plus, the tea was delicious. Definitely recommend!!

We went to this hostel during Holi fest, so prices were very high. We liked the room, but the service is terrible. The owner is a terrible woman who only wants to take your money.||She will try anything: givibg you a wrong ticket with what you had from the bar, telling you you have to pay extra charge for making the bedsheets dirty... Everything! We asked her to book a bus for us and she told us she could not give us a reciept because it was Holi... Whaaaaaat?||Then she took out some food, said it was free, so we ate it and thanked her, she brought more and more, and finally said: ok, so this this and this was free, but this wasnt, so you have to pay for it... We never even asked for any food!!||All the time she's trying to scam you, so although the hoatel is nice, with nice location, its just not worth having to be all the time watching for her not to charge you for more things.

This family run hotel is a great bargain for the price. It’s rustic and monkeys sometimes bang on the door wanting a handout. The rooftop restaurant is unfinished but has wonderful views and excellent food. It’s right in the heart of Pushkar. Loved it.
