★★★★★My friend and I booked two nights at Hotel Shankar Palace to end our trip in India. It turned out to be the highlight of our time away.||Sambha and Raju provided a very warm welcome and make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. We enjoyed walks with them around the lake, as well as a visit to see the camel fair. Nothing was ever too much hassle. We will never forget the time we spent with them and their friends. ||The hotel is in a perfect location, with a beautiful courtyard for relaxing a meeting other guests, and rooftop restaurant where Sambha creates some fantastic food. The atmosphere here is brilliant.||Our room was incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities we could need, including a regular supply of bottles water and toilet paper. The rooms here are very unique, each decorated differently, with super comfortable beds. ||Our only regret was that we had only booked two nights and has to return to Delhi to catch a flight home. We plan on returning and staying for longer next time.

NillRecommended. The first time I went to Pushkar, I found this humble but amazing hotel. It's surprisingly cheap but the spiritual vibe is wonderful. The owner is friendly and helpful. I think I'll stay here again if I visit Pushkar. However, I think they should fix the hot water facility and the door.

NillNice funky vibes hostel with friendly and helpful staff. The hostel is very well located, close to shops, restaurants and the lake. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious. They’ve got a nice common area to chill and hand with people. Hey also have a rooftop restaurant, didn’t try it tho. Nice option when in Pushkar

★★★★★Cozy place with nice stuffs. Room is clean and nice. Place is very social with lots of activities. The owners are down to earth. Every evening there is a bonfire in the garden. Small rooftop is also nice at the morning. Location is great. The best value what you can get for the price.

★★★★Are you looking for a great place to chill out? This is a wonderful haven for backpackers and those of us that are budget conscious. The basic rooms with private bathrooms, and the inner courtyard have hand painted art work that bring an Indian flare to each area. ||The two young personable brothers, Raju and Sambha, will win you over with their infectious smiles and ability to open their hotel as if they were inviting you in their personal home. ||Ideally located within a short walk to the main bazaar and lake, it is far enough away that you are not bothered by the noise from the streets. ||Are you celebrating your birthday while you’re here, or you would like Samba to show you how to make some of your favourite foods that you’ve tasted at the “chillout” roof top restaurant, he loves to cook and will share his expertise with you. He sometimes spoils you with little surprises. ||As far as falling in love in the desert ...... my four legged lover with smouldering brown eyes canopied under long black lashes carried me into the desert of Rajasthan into the setting sun as we escaped the Pushkar Camel Fair. Oh and by the way Raju and Sambha are pretty loveable too.
