Hotel Narain Continental

Not recommended. Very dirty rooms, dirty bathrooms, no cleanliness, room service is very poor, and the list goes on. When I checked-in to the hotel, the staff just made the bed, all other things were as it is, like dustbins were full of trash, bathroom was not cleaned, room's floor was full of hairs, etc. On calling reception to change the room, they informed me that all other rooms were full and they just apologised for the inconveniences. I have been on the business travel and didn't have so much time to keep pointing out everything and get it resolved. They take very long time to fulfill your requests. I couldn't find any pros in the hotel. Never book this hotel if you're looking for good service, hygiene, cleanliness, etc. No kettle, no coffee/tea sachets provided in the rooms, and didn't get one on requesting the same.

I can easily call this place one of the best when it comes to dining. A nice and quiet place to have your food and beverages with some what is near to the economical experience. I ordered Egg hakka noodles, veg fried rice and chicken Manchurian The noodles were juicy and flavorful with lots of veggies and egg chunks. The rice were just next to perfect The chicken Manchurian was an absolute winner for me as you can tell the efforts they put in their cooking. I had a great time here and the service was good too

Hotel is ok, food is good. Room needs maintenance. Service Staff is Poor. Especially Room Service, Housekeeping most untrained and unprofessional with comparison to the hotels age and name.

The restaurant is very spacious with good ambience. The food is delicious and they offered 15 % discount in the food bill. The rate is moderate. The hotel has a decent parking space. Location wise also it is approachable from all directions. One can come through Sheranwala Gate or Fountain Chowk or Nabha Gate or opposite to the gate of Baradari Gardens between Sheranwala Gate and Fountain Chowk.

Poor infrastructure. Very untidy. Bathrooms not clean. The fixtures shoddy. Even the bathroom fittings are loose. The chitkanis are not properly fitting even. Service poor. Though it may be a budget hotel but cleanliness is important. A hotel must be Neat and clean one may compromise on other accessories being provided but not on cleanliness. The only plus point was the tea was good.

Rooms are old but good for staying , Reception Staff is Rude & always ready to argue And will try to haggle you for the room rate. If you reach the hotel after talking on the phone, then there is no trust in their words.
