OYO Hotel The Brew Times

Honestly do not know how this place is still running. ||Been here for dinner before but didn’t know it was this bad. Thought we’d stay in their hotel as it was convenient for us to be near all the shops. Definitely will not be coming back here for sure. ||Our first day we had 8 power cuts, dirty toilet - limescale all over it which could be easily removed with a bit of bleach but they do not use bleach here. So have no idea how they get rid of all the germs and bacteria. Had to asked the receptionist to get someone to sort this out 3 times, first time she forgot then I found her in an unoccupied room brushing her hair then I had to remind her in the corridor. Plugged in a heater and it caused a power cut and we sat in our room for 20 minutes in the dark. You can not use the heater and geyser at the same time. There isn’t enough electricity supply to our room. Plus the heater was faulty. In our second room the sink was leaking from below they didn’t know what to do so we had to tell them to supply a bucket so the water doesn’t go all over the floor. If we hadn’t told them to bring a bucket they would have left it as it was and let it drain down the shower drain, which would have taken ages. ||2nd day we had 3 power cuts first thing in the morning and they went for for a good 10 minutes at a time. Geyser in our room wasn’t working so couldn’t shower, was told to go into another room to shower and when I did they didn’t even bother to clean the shower. We had the technician come and fix the geyser and he didn’t even clean up after himself, literally black foot prints all over the bathroom floor and by the front door. |Also found a dead cockroach by our bed and a pigeon in the bathroom ceiling. ||3rd day (check out day) we were woke up at 8am by constant banging, as we checked out they tried billing us with hidden charges for ice, extra pillows and mattresses - we had informed them we needed a twin room with two mattresses before hand. ||There is bogies all over the room, the headboard, on the walls and on the chair by the table. Mould on the bedside lamp and the floor is filthy, the bottom of my slippers were almost black ( if you plan to stay here take some slipper as they don’t supply). Anything that’s happening on the first floor can be heard from every room. ||The cleaning manager Sangita was about the only person here with sense and she was helpful.||The breakfast is a disaster! Just a mix and match of food in a banqueting suite with random tables and chairs. Didn’t even bother going back the second day. ||As I mentioned I have been here for dinner before and decided to have dinner here again but this time the experience was much worse. The table mats were filthy, and the plates had curry stains all over it. Table and chair wrong sizes. Tables were high and the seats were too low and on the other side of the restaurant the tables were on the same level as the seats.

Worst hotel in jalandhar From last 2-4 days useless staff not even pick calls. I don't know why but the security guard of the hotel came on 2 floor and say open the door and drink front of me no way of talking I book room for 3 days but i have to check out on very first day of booking there was my birthday and my all birthday was waste due to this staff of the hotel who set on reception at night and that security guard at night. Now wait for revenge

It was the second time I visited there. First I had attended a birthday parry thst was good and yesterday I had to do some office work and needed to sit somewhere, I had ordered a veg sandwich and cold coffee. It's has an average taste. I would not really recommend this place for fine dine.

Below are the highlights: 1. Ambience was very good. 2. As per service, price is genuine 3. Quantity over price is fits good. You are getting according to what you paid. 4. Taste is good -ves 1. Service is litle bit slow. Need to improve. Specially payment counter 2. In bill/invoice, service charge which is optional is already included and sumed up.

One of the most pathetic place to stay as it really doesn't focus on any kind of hospitality. The hotel is at 4th floor they really don't provide any thing like sleepers, comb which a person use on a day to day basis. Their rooms are really very small and they don't have any table or chair where you can sit comfortably. Their breakfast also starts late and that is shoddy. If I would have an option to give a 0 I would have given that as well.

Food over here is excellent, but for the stay I won't recommend you. The service of the staff is not upto the mark. You literally have to remind them more then twice or thrice for a thing to get done.

we went to this restaurant twice -once for lunch & once for dinner with friends. This place is so slow, firstly no one comes to take an order. once the order is placed then the service is so slow that u forget what u have ordered. Food is not at all tasty. in fact, it was served cold as if it was prepared long back. Its a big no from my side, I would not recommend this place.
