Hotel S S Royal

I had a wonderful 2-night stay at Hotel S S Royal. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Golden Temple and close to many other nearby attractions. The food was absolutely delicious, and the rooms were well-maintained. The service was prompt and efficient, but what truly stood out was the staff. They were extremely courteous and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Their hospitality is truly commendable. The rates are also quite reasonable for the quality of service provided. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amritsar.

Owner and management is polite, clean and best quality rooms. They will provide you with best services and take care of all your needs. Mr. Subhash Singh will take best care of your stay and will always manage all your things. If you a looking for a comfortable rooms and best services, do visit this hotel. You will have a best place to stay. Also location is a plus point, golden temple is just 2-3 min. They allowed our pet dog Toffee , a small and sweet Shih Tzu in their hotel and welcomed her with whole heart. Rarest thing in the Amritsar. So you can too stay here with your pet family.

Great hotel to stay with family. Staff was helpful. Gurudwara is just at walking distance. Just remember that there is no parking place for 4 wheeler at the hotel only drop and go option and small cars like omni alto and e-rikshaw car go near the hotel main gate. Rest everything is fine. Hot water is available. UPI and cash payment available at hotel. No idea about if card payment is available.

Worst experience at this hotel due to two major issues: 1. I was asked to pay twice because the staff claimed they hadn’t received the UPI payment confirmation, even though the amount had been debited. After returning home, I followed up multiple times over the phone. Initially, they insisted they had only received one payment, despite checking their statements. It was only when I mentioned filing a case and requested their account statements that they admitted to receiving the payment twice. They promised to refund the extra amount immediately, but I still had to keep following up to get my money back. 2. On the first night, we stayed in Room 103 where the shower and bath tap handle were jammed, making it difficult and time-consuming to bathe. Upon requesting an extension for another night, we were shifted to Room 203. However, even there, the toilet jet had no holder and was left lying on the floor. On a positive note, the rooms were clean and the bedding was comfortable.

The location of the hotel was very close to the Golden Temple, making it extremely convenient for our visit. The hospitality provided by Subhash Singh was exceptional, and we truly appreciated his warm service. The price was also very reasonable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel near to golden temple. Rooms are good, service is good currently they are expanding. So they don't have lift. If you are coming with your car then it will be difficult for you to drive and park.
