Terrible Experience for ₹8600 Per Night I had a highly disappointing stay at this hotel. For a rate of ₹8600 per night, I expected basic cleanliness and decent service, but the experience was far from acceptable. 1. Unhygienic Conditions: The room was infested with termites, wood powder, and mosquitoes. The bed had visible dirt and debris, as shown in the attached photo. 2.Unresponsive Reception: When I raised these issues, the reception provided no support or resolution. Such poor hospitality and uncleanliness are unacceptable, especially for the price charged. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would strongly advise against staying here until they improve their service standards.

I'm having a hard time writing a decent review for this place. Towels are dirty with stains, flying rats(doves) they poop on the floor and the staff doesn't care about the health risks it posses. This isn't a hotel for white people or anyone with any kind of health standard. Checkout is at weirdly at 8 AM and they call you to wake you up, as if you're a child without any sense of responsibility. 10/10 don't stay here.

As compared to other hotels on this street, its balcony is spacious enough to accommodate whole Family. It's a little away from the golden beach, so we experienced a calm and quiet beach evening.. but if you have kids and need a little noise, I would suggest to book near golden beach. Service is good, Restaurant is not great as per the price. You will find much better options outside.

This NRS Royal Palace is just in front of Seashore in Marine Drive Road. 3½ kms from Golden beach of Puri. Management is blindly offering Cool drinks/juices (as a custom all are doing) not considering climate, weather and without asking customer's interest. We as group taken 14 Sea view Premium Rooms. We had trouble in entering hotel since one VIP is in the town. Instead checking in at 12.00 noon, entered hotel by 8.30 pm. The reception people without courtesy mercilessly tried to do their work first even after handed over keys. They are keen on collecting id proof of all 29 persons without considering our tiredness. Our stay was 2 nights. Highlighting point is one Gentlemen, Mr. Ajay had informed me, group leader about CHECK OUT time as 8.00 a.m. while entering the room itself before refreshing and settling. No small restaurants or hotels available nearby. You need to go near Puri beach which is 4 kms away. Rooms are very good and big. But, but Rest Rooms are very small and congestive. No direct responses from House keeping. For every need and services, you have to ask through Reception. All staff are having walky talky but not effective usage. We have not used the swimming pool. English is manageable only in reception and with few persons Restaurant. To interact with others in hotel or outside you must know Odiya or Hindi. One Mr. Manoj who interacted with me from previous day and to collect details of our group. He is the caring person and patiently listened to our grievances. We had breakfast and dinner two times in the restaurant. Lot of non-vegetarian items and few Vegetarian items available in menu. Rates are costly but not too costly. Rich and upper middle class people can afford. Food is good and tasty. Sufficient varieties of Indian and continental breakfast served in complementary breakfast. They must concentrate in Rest Rooms sizes, cleanliness and comfortability. No parking place is seen inside the campus. Seen all vehicles parked in Road front of hotel outside campus.

The hotel is well located and the beach in front is clean and clear of hutments and temporary stalls. The management, service is polite and efficient. The food served in the restaurant is appetizing and very reasonable priced. But the hotel rooms require maintenance and a makeover with improved facilities.

1. We stayed in sea view rooms 205. 206. And these two rooms were pathetic. We had to keep the AC on at 20 degrees at full fan speed, otherwise the entire floor was becoming damp with moisture, and we slipped because of this couple of times. When you have senior citizens and kids, it becomes that much difficult to manage. They cant withstand extended periods of chilled room conditions or the added risk of a super slippery floor. We didn't have much choice but to keep the room chilled, and all of us suffered from cough and cold soon afterwards. Even the hotel corridors was also full of moisture water on the floor. 2. Ill mannered staff. On the day of check out, there were repeated calls blatantly asking us to vacate the room since other guests were coming in, but the truth is they had enough rooms and just wanted us to leave as its passed the check out time of 8 AM. They later agreed on additional payment of 2.5K for a room, but surely this could have been done in a better manner, given the fact that we had couple of senior citizens and a child (< 2years) in the group. To top it all, the child was also sick from keeping the rooms chilled, which the hotel staff was aware. Fun fact- One of the rooms we left early at 10 AM, was never given to any guests till the time we left. So it was a lie nonetheless. 3. Food was okay. Breakfast is average. Kids food was also average. They gave us normal rice when we specified overboiled for a child. The veg khichdi at other times was okay. The property prices itself as a 4 star, but the conditions are best suited for a 2 star property. Except for the view, this hotel has nothing that would bring guests back. The rooms looked old, and the bathroom fittings looked worn out. Most people are regular travelers to Puri. I would personally recommend not to book this, if you have other choices available. Please note- Added a photo to show the amount of moisture water getting accumulated on the floor.

Rooms are not properly maintained. You will see termites all over at wood work inside room. If you are allergic to dust and termites, please don't opt for this hotel. The hotel has a small lawn and swimming pool. Nothing for kids to enjoy apart from swimming pool. Location is far from city, market and crowd. You will have to spend good amount to reach Jaganath temple and market through auto or Toto. You get good complementary breakfast and good on call room service. That's it...the hotel is not maintained properly. It's dirty. furnitures/doors are worn out. With such high price, you will not like to stay at such unmaintained and termites full room.

If you are looking for a little free area where you can breathe better.. certainly a good hotel for staying. No complaints.. Rooms were good enough. Good service. Good breakfast too. Price is little high than what it should be.
