Hotel Lovely star Inn

I visited in DEC'2024 and was not very impressed. The hotel doesn't have lift facility, but they are planning in future. They don't have own restaurant. The balcony needs to be properly maintained. The room rate of Rs 4750 is too much even in peak time. The hospitality is very good. The sea is just 2 minutes away.

Awful Experience at Hotel Lovely Star I recently stayed at Hotel Lovely Star and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I had booked a sea-view room, but instead, I was given a room that overlooked filthy, neglected roads. Definitely not the peaceful retreat I had in mind. To make matters worse, the room itself was unbearable. The bad smell in the room and the bathroom was horrible, and I couldn't even imagine relaxing there. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, and the towels provided were not only dirty but also stinky. We asked for basic toiletries, but the hotel failed to provide them. To top it all off, the tea and coffee service was extremally slow, it took over an hour to receive just four cups of tea, which is completely unacceptable. On top of the terrible room conditions and poor service, they didn't even provide an tax invoice when we checked out. after insisting for invoice hotel staff assured that they will send us invoice over WhatsApp which we have not received so far. The room tariff of Rs 4000 per room per night is way too high, no one should pay more than 500 for such a terrible experience. This place is not worth it in any way! I would never recommend staying here to anyone.

This was good staying there. You need to have your own vehicle to reach and stay their happily unless there will be hassle with local transports. Because the hotel location is far from the main town. Room was clean. Has hot water system and air-conditioning. No restaurant with this hotel you need to go far to take food.

The caretaker was so rude, they charge extra for a mattress if you have more than 2 people however I had booked for 3 people to which their clarification was, "we are allowing a third person however you have to pay for the mattress." The extra mattress is a thermocol sheet! The check out time is 9 AM with no adjustments they will charge you fully for the next day, the weather is humid and their Air conditioning doesn't work. I had booked a seaview room and all I could see were buildings from my balcony. I do not recommend anyone to stay here. It was a pathetic experience.

- Clean facilities inside the room. Balcony was soiled with pigeon droppings. Cons: - Far from lighthouse - No public transport - Partial sea view with no beach lighting/shops - No restaurant attached - Heavily Overpriced
