The Yellow Hotel By Festin

Myself, my wife and son stayed in the Yellow Hotel by Festin, Puri from Friday, 17th to morning of Sunday, 19th October 2025 (both days inclusive). It was an extremely happy and satisfactory experience for us. Behavior of staff right from the Reception Counter to room service boys is simply awesome. All are very good but I would like to specially mention names of Shraddha from the Reception team and Suraj from the Room Service team. Their modesty, helping and caring attitude towards Boarders is truly overwhelming. I harbour a strong desire to visit Puri once again whenever opportunity arises and it will be undoubtedly my great pleasure to stay in Yellow Hotel only, for a very safe, comfortable and amazing staying experience. I will also recommend my family and friends to enjoy similar experience. I am glad to give 5 stars for my recent experience and would emphasize to continue extending similar good quality of services always to maintain your reputation. God bless you all. Thanks. I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely courteous, and a special mention to Shraddha who was very helpful throughout. The food was delicious and overall it was a great experience. The location is very convenient, being very close to the temple. The only minor concern is that cabs drop you about 500 meters away, but it’s an easy walk or you can take a rickshaw for just ₹20. Note: One small suggestion to hotel would be to add more variety and fruits to the complimentary buffet.

Taxi can't drop u at the hotel . Hotel rooms shown are not maintained in that condition. Room had smell , dirty linnen, Horrible smelling towels . Mattress was bad , by morning had backache. While Breakfast time is 07:30 am , they don't start before 08:00 am that too if pushed . Taste was good for morning breakfast items. Only positive is that hotel is 10 mins walking distance to Temple.

Location is perfect for shri jaganath temple. rooms are good with all amenities. Food court is excellent and very tasty food. We had one bad experience regarding key. hotel reception did not have either duplicate key or master key. It took more than 15 min to arrange key.this can create emergency. Rest all excellent.

The worst hotel i have ever stayed so far We were welcomed to the room with a very strong smell of insect killer which seems they sprayed just before our check-in l. It was so strong we ended up sneezing whole night, if that was not enough there were dead cockroaches in the room, in the restaurant, dirty linen, broken bathroom, the list is endless, i will never recommed this place to anybody

Our recent stay at The Yellow Hotel by Festin turned out to be a delightful experience, nestled in the heart of Puri and just a short walk away from the sacred Jagannath Temple, a location that couldn’t have been more convenient. We were a group of three adults, and to our pleasant surprise, the room was both spacious and impeccably clean. The hotel thoughtfully arranged a king-sized bed along with a sofa-cum-bed fitted with an additional mattress, ensuring we were all comfortably accommodated. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out, every request we made, whether for dental kit or tea, was met with prompt and courteous service. The reception staff were particularly warm and helpful, always ready with a smile and practical advice. One of the highlights of our stay was the food court within the premises, which served genuinely delicious meals that far exceeded our expectations for in-house dining. The only minor inconvenience was the Wi-Fi, which was undergoing router upgrades during our visit, likely a temporary hiccup. Despite that, our one-night stay was smooth, enjoyable, and offered great value for its proximity to the temple. I’d certainly recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and hospitality, all at a reasonable price, right near the heart of Jagannath Dham.

If you are visiting puri for first time, then you must choose the yellow hotels by festin for your stay. Location wise very good as jagannath temple is at walking distance. Staff is so supportive. Food is good. Great ambience. Rooms are good and spacious. Cleanliness on top. Overall my experience is very good. And again I'll choose the yellow hotels for my stay while vising puri. 👍

Excellent service by the staff. Made our stay comfortable, and also helped us arrange transport. The rooms were big and clean but a lot of stains were there. Very close to Jagannath Temple. If visiting Puri again, I would probably stay here itself.
