Excellent Stay at Kiwi Inn Hotel, Ujjain I had a wonderful stay at Kiwi Inn Hotel, Ujjain. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and always ready to assist. The location is very convenient, especially for visitors coming to seek blessings at Mahakal Temple and explore Ujjain. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and peaceful. I highly recommend Kiwi Inn Hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay in Ujjain. Booked this hotel for my elderly parents and relatives for their Ujjain pilgrimage based on its location and great reviews online. Big mistake. Tldr: The good reviews are most probably fake as they ask for rs 200 at checkin and only refund the same at checkout of you put in a 5 star review. Also they dont provide kettles in the room and dont have an in house restaurant. Pros- only one positive, the location. Just next to the railway station and close to the Temple. Cons- 1. The rooms: new construction, clean. But, no almirahs which can be closed, just open columns to keep your stuff in, no proper almirahs. 2. No kettle and coffee/tea/milk sachets were provided. After much bickering and arguments they provided the kettles. The kettle provided in one of our rooms had cockroaches and spiders inside. 3. No in house kitchen- food was brought in from nearby restaurants and took a long time to arrive. 4. They only had two guys who were like multipurpose workers, and they took their own sweet time for everything. 5. The Rs 200 security amount- this is the crown jewel. At the check in they asked for Rs 200 as security amount, which would was to be returned at checkout after the customers put in a good review on google. This is the reason for the 5 star reviews, they cost rs 200! Add to it the bad attitude of the manager who was not ready to accept that the deficiencies are actual deficiencies, and was trying to gaslight the guests into believing that expecting a kettle in a hotel room is unnatural and that they run multiple hotels in Indore and Ujjain and do not provide kettles anywhere.

Rooms are comfortable and nice. Need some maintenance on shower. A/c was good. TV was google TV no HDMI channels / live TV was available. Location is excellent. Staff is helpful and cooperative. Recommend for tourists. Supermarkets, restaurant are in close proximity. Very good WiFi connectivity.
