HOTEL SAMRAT (THE SAMRAT)

Best hotel with amazing staff! Today I urgently needed a hotel for a shoot, but most hotels were either asking for extra charges or refusing locals. Then I went to Hotel Samrat, where the staff spoke to me so politely and even opened a big room for the shoot. My experience with this hotel has been truly wonderful—definitely one of the best hotels in town! Manager and other staff is so sweet..I was very worried about getting a hotel but they truly made my day!

Hotel was good. Food is amazing. Since its an old property, you can smell something off in the room, though its not prominent.

I've visited here 100+ times, the food is amazing but the staff is very underwhelming, they don't have basic manners, no courtesy and they make wierd faces too.

VERY POOR SERVICE The hotel is really outdated and lacks convenient booking options online like early check-in, 24 hrs booking etc. The receptionist there Amit Tiwari was very rude and lack hospitality training. He doesn't know how to value customers and treats them like he's doing them a favour by offering room. Other receptionists don't even know the room types available in the hotel. As I visit for business purposes, my basic requirement is a work desk which is available in some rooms in the category which I prefer but they straight away denied that they don't have any such rooms available. The only good thing is the breakfast with a lot of options but the live counter is only for people who don't have any problem eating eggs and the chef would prepare Dosa, Uthappam and Omlette on the same tava. Overall I feel the hotel requires a lot of changes especially in the area of staff training and renovation of old rooms. Until then I'll suggest to book nearby hotels with good reviews.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the city of Jabalpur. Rooms are very tidy and clean. They have great breakfast buffet. Vijay, Vinay, and Mahendra made sure our family had wonderful dine in breakfast experience. Thanks!
