Hotel Baba

They overcharge at checkout. We used single room (Rs 900) on day (8am till midnight) and double room (Rs 1200) from midnight till 3pm next day. They charged Rs 1200 for both day despite their 24 hour checkout policy.|Their rooms are also very old and not very clean. Dampness, moisture and broken paint on wall can be seen on 4h floor rooms.|Ac remote doesn't work properly.|Owner, staff waste your time at checkout for money.|Stay here only if you have no other option.

The AC wasn’t working, the food was tasteless, when we complained about the room , the receptionist gave the mobile number and the owner was in front he switched off his phone and smiled , the receptionist and the owner both are very rude and disrespectful and the room doesn’t had any wardrobe , no cleanliness and gave the used room of someone, the room had cockroaches and smelling like a public toilet

After looking 2-3 other nearby hotels, I came across this "Hotel Baba" at Choti Gwaltoli near Indore Junction Railway Station.||Its a very good budget hotel and Indore Junction Railway station is hardly at a walking distance of 5 minutes and Central Mall is at a walking distance of 15 minutes.||The price quoted for a double-bed AC room was 1000/- per night with free extra mattress. ||I liked the room immediately as the room size was quite good and toilet and room were very clean. It looked like a new property but the hotel manager said its very old property but was renovated 10 years back. The hotel still looked new so I must say it was very well maintained. ||The hotel has 4 floors with a lift. We got Room 201 and 202 on 2nd floor. I will recommend room 201 as it gives full view of the main road. Both rooms had a huge almirah(cupboard) and a full-sized mirror too along with a small 2-seater sofa.||The staff was helpful and friendly. On my request, they also gave some extra pillows and bed linens for no charge. The checkout time is 11am but they allowed us to checkout at 12noon and also allowed to keep the luggage at the lobby area as we had a train at 4pm from Indore Junction Station.||They dont have a restaurant but they have a kitchen to cook and they serve food in the room. We had ordered Tea, Khichdi and sandwiches and all were decent at a very reasoable price. Since its near station and on a Chauraha (Sardar Patel Statue Circle), it was very easy to find auto-rickshaw to travel anywhere and there are ample restaurants at a walking distance.||Highly recommended if your budget is around 1000 Rupees per night and you wish to stay near Indore Railway station.

Used to be a good option to stay while you Re in Indore. After management change the place has gone to dogs. Do not think of staying there. You might not even get a room that was confirmed on phone. Hopeless! The management is not interested in the affairs. The management representative is clueless.
