This was not something I expected from Treebo..I have stayed at a lot of hotels and treebo being choice of my budget hotel . The whole hotel is run by 1 attendant. The balconies were reeking with monkey urine smell which has not been cleaned in ages. The room sticks of the odour of urine. I booked 5 rooms for 10 people and 1 child. None of the TV's had working cable tv.. 2 rooms didn't have toiletries ,soap and shower gel. Only 1 room with the front view. Windows can't be open because of the urine smell Backup generator was not switched on even after 30 min when electricity went off. He switched on when I told him for the backup No interest in his work 2 rooms didn't not have water heater for tea and coffee. Coffee sachets and milk powder were not provided . Breakfast menu dosas got over before even half the people in the hotel started eating. No coffee in breakfast. Only tea. And while checking out the receptionist asked me to pay for the driver's breakfast I had booked 5 rooms and we were 10 people . The driver slept in the car as the receptionist wanted to charge extra for the mattress to be put in the room. Then he wanted to charge me extra for the driver since he has not used the room. Just cheap tactics to make the customers pay for the lodge.. Hated the stay..will never refer anyone.. The negative feedback on the website doesn't upload .

I stayed here, with my family. The location is great, offering scenic views, but the hotel has some limitations. The rooms are small but suitable for a small family. There is no lift, which could be inconvenient, and parking is limited. Service and cleanliness were average. It's located about 20 km from the town, so consider this if you're planning frequent trips to the city center. Overall, a decent option if you're looking for an affordable stay with basic amenities.

If you are looking for only a view from a room then this hotel is for you else there is nothing. You won't even get hot water here, else you can have a total loss of water. It's the month of December winter and it's been 2 days there is no hot water in the room. Today all of a sudden water itself is not coming, hot water is already out of the question. There is no one in the property to own this issue. The manager is not available in the property. The receptionist can only say one thing please talk to the manager. The manager is such a honourably busy person that his phone is never available to connect. All we hear is ' the number you are trying to call is on another call ' To reach out to the receptionist you will have to go down till his desk and ask for service. Then you have to follow up atleast two more times to get your work done. Please choose wisely if you still want to stay in the property. I already feel cheated seeing a 4.5 rating to this property.

Despite booking for two nights, I was assigned a room on the 4th floor of a facility with no elevator. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. No toiletries were provided, and only a single bath towel was given for two guests. Although an electric kettle was available, there were no tea bags, coffee powder, or sugar sachets. The complimentary breakfast was disappointing, with no cut fruits, sweets, or coffee provided. While the idlis were soft, the sambhar was so diluted it seemed to have more water than the Idukki Dam reservoir. Additionally, the road leading to the hotel was in such poor condition that one has to drive at a crawling pace in first or second gear for nearly 1.5 kilometers. I am never coming back here again!

If you're just looking for a place to crash without breaking the bank, it’s an okay option, provided with toiletries, electric kettle, drinking water and complimentary breakfast (idly/dosa/chutney /sambar/tea/). Another big plus was that they provided hot water, which was a nice touch after a chilly day in Munnar. And, if you're here for the Kolukkumalai Jeep Safari, this hotel is super convenient—it's very close to the pick-up point, as well as Gap Road, which is a great advantage if you’re planning to explore the area. Cons: Now, let’s talk about the downsides. First off, there’s no restaurant nearby—so if you’re hungry after a long day of travel, you’ll have to venture out to find food. Speaking of facilities, the toilets weren’t up to the mark—they could use a little more attention when it comes to cleanliness and maintenance. Another thing to consider is the balcony. It looked nice in theory, but honestly, it didn’t really serve its purpose. There was a stinky smell coming from it, likely because waste is dumped around the compound walls, which definitely wasn’t pleasant. Finally, here’s a little issue I had: They charged extra for a bed, even though I had already paid for an additional person during the booking process. Definitely something you’ll want to double-check when you book. Overall, while it’s a budget-friendly option, there are a few areas that could use improvement. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep close to the safari pick-up point, this could work for you. But if you're expecting something more comfortable and convenient, you might want to consider other options.

If budget is the constraint then only go for it. Otherwise no because there is no lift, no maintenance, no service. Don't spoil your trip.

It was a very bad experience when we checked in at hotel.There was no water in the hotel for hole day. Worst case was we couldn't able to use bathroom for 1 day.We had to use common bathroom.The hotel staff was unable to fix the issue on same day.As water is essential and basic need of man,we didn't get it for 1 day. Also there was a power cut at night and no electricity was there for full night so we couldn't sleep properly.Several times Called the manager for water issue. But he was unable to fix the water problem.Though I was vid my family,it was very tough harsh like nightmare. Very bad terrific experience it was.So I asked for refund to the Treebo Customer care.And they said you will get it within 24 hours.24 hours passed already,still I am waiting for my refund. And now Whenever I'm trying to call the customer care,No one is showing promptness to help the customer who had faced lot of trouble because of unavailability of water.Cruel business and disgraceful attitude towards the guests by Treebo.

Best budget hotel in suryanelli, near to gap road. Host can speak Malayalam as well as Tamil. Morning breakfast was too good, after long time I’m tasted Chennai style food.
