Worst experience ever. Power cut every half an hour. Drunk head receptionist. Poor qaulity laundry work. Not clean . Please dont approach here for room it will be a nightmare. We paid 1200 per room and the service we received was like 300rs room . No quality bed sheets.

It's a very good tourist home, very reasonable and cost effective. Manager and staff are very courteous and attentive. I will suggest this tourist home to anyone travelling to Mookambika, as you will find the rates nearby the temple too costly compared to this. It's only 500+metres from temple parking area, that's an advantage..You can spend for an auto just 40 rs to reach temple, rather than paying thousands extra for a substandard room nearby temple. Pre-Book during season time like Meena Masam and during long weekend holidays and Summer holidays, so that you will have troublefree experience. Gave 4 stars as there is still some room for improvement, but best part they have taken the feedback seriously. For Malayalis : They are learning to speak and understand Malayalam whole heartedly. They are now novice, soon they will be expert at the language. But they can speak English very well. And able to manage and understand your needs and catering that well.

Never stayed in such a worst hotel before. Such a terrrible experience. Rooms were very un hygenic and door lock was damaged. We were scared to sleep in that room. They didnt even bothered to change the room. Reception staff was friendly.

I had a one day stay here and would suggest not to book this hotel. Theres only one guy how just sweeps the room as soon as u checkout n wont even open the room if its not occupied for months. The room had a very foul smell the bed ,chair and floors were dusty. When asked to clean the rooms the guy came and sprayed lot of phenol n cleaning chemicals which had a very punching smell n we had to keep the doors n windows open for hours. The main doors were jammed and couldn't close without making noise and some muscle power. No restaurant and clear trip rates are very high. Only good thing is they have 24hr running hot water. Washrooms were dirty , passages and rooms are not maintained we could even see fungus and small wall mushrooms here. Luckily no bed bugs. taps had muddy water. It was a compleat disaster. Im a hotelier and never saw such a pathetic hotel who claims to be 2 star. All the rooms were open and were undergoing some sort of cleaning excersise-- i wonder if the hotel is under maintenance why they are accepting bookings.if they have accepted bookings how could they checkin guest in such a dirty room. Muddy water , dust n rat poo itself says that the rooms were made decades ago. Also this is not near to temple. Not at all worth for 1250 rs .. Cleartrip plz do not even show this on the listing even the room rates go down this is hazardous for health!!

Had checked in while visiting Mookambika temple for a period of few hours. Needed a decent place enough to freshen and keep my luggage. This hotel serve the purpose with no hassle with a pleasant clean AC single room. The service was good had a baby with me, so was indeed was clean and hygienic place.

For the amount paid 1067 the room was upto marked. The rates are hyped here in cleartrip there the actual rate is 883 only. The room was spacious with foul smell. Its not very near to temple. Need to walk 10 minutes. But that is okay.
