The location is perfect for those seeking peace and tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by nature, the homestay offers a serene atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. Waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying the fresh air was a delight. One of the best parts was the affordability—this place offers exceptional value for money without compromising on comfort. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant stay. Nestled amidst the vibrant canopy of greenery, Areca Nest is a pure source of bliss!! We stayed there during May, 2025. It is very close to the sea-beach. And the host Ankit is a gem of a person. Visitors are free to reach out to him for any information/suggestion/guidance. Thanks a ton.

We had a wonderful stay at areca nest . The environment and the atmosphere helped us to relax. We had a very good stay." The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort, we just need to cross the road and there is a direct path leading to the beach. And also service was very nice, thanks to ankith.

Relaxing, enjoyable nature paradise! Wonderful relaxed energy amongst a beautiful garden. We stayed in the balcony room, which was a peaceful oasis and our room was very comfortable with so much space. Ankit, the owner was a wonderful host, making sure we where very comfortable, restocking our room with soap and water and also dropped us to our night bus which was very helpful and kind. The property is a 2 minute walk to the beach, great location in a quiet part of town. Great cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Thanks Ankit, we hope to be back one day 🙏🏼😄

Rooms are clean but AC is not good. It will take hell lot of time for the room to be chilled. Location is also very inside. Roads are very narrow. If the vehicle comes on opposite side then our vehicle can not go. Also the hosts are not so welcoming.

We trawled the internet looking at properties in Gokarna, most were not very nice! We chose this one because of its outside space the upper terrace was lovely and the property was situated in gardens with trees a short walk from the beach. The property is accurately described on the website. For the price it was reasonable value. Room was clean but quite basic. Host was welcoming and helpful. There was a kitchen area that was not mentioned which was a bonus but so much more could have been made of this. Location near the best part of Gokarna beach was good with good restaurants and shops near by. We hadn't realised that the room we had booked was not A/C there was an extra charge for this of 500 rupees a night. Room was quite basic but comfortable enough. There is a real opportunity with the kitchen area to refurbish this as so much more could be made of this area with perhaps the addition of a fridge and new worktops and sink this could be a real USP. For the price it was reasonable homestay, although we moved to the best hotel right on the beach because we decided we wanted to be on the beach, we would have quiet happily have stayed here for the full 3 nights and can recommend it to others. As with most properties they only took cash or indian paytm which is a problem for international tourist like us.
