A must visit place to have Benne dosa. Ordered Benne dosa and Kali dosa. Dosa is served with pallya and chutney. Dosa tastes good. Pallya is ok. Chutney is spicy. Service is fast. Place could be more hygienic.

Had an amazing experience trying authentic benne dosa in Davanagere at this hotel! 🧈 The dosa was loaded with butter, crispy, and full of flavor. The coconut chutney and potato curry were delicious and completed the meal perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try real Davanagere-style benne dosa! 😋

Worst quality !! 1 plate Benne (Butter) Dosa consists of 2 pcs medium in size, we went searching for this shop or hotel or canteen whatsoever thinking we must try their authentic original Dosa only to get disappointed.. Dosa was not at all good and 1 plate cost was ₹ 120/- we had ordered 3 plates costed us INR 360/-.. Absolutely not worth spending so much.. Somehow we finished dosa and ordered tea but again we repented for ordering.. We found hair in tea and I informed at the counter.. Tea costed 10 each we had ordered only 2 cups .. The person at the counter waived off ₹20/- as he himself saw the hair floating in the glass... Seriously we went with lots of hope... Trust me, it's not worth it at all... They have five Sagar Benne (Butter) Dosa shops on the same lane, all of 'em belong to the same owner..

Davangere is famous for their benne dose and this place is among them who have maintained their consistency from decades. The place is still wood fired and have witnessed many celebrities enjoyed their benne dose . Highly recommend to tase one of the best benne dose place in Davangere.

The problem Is there are many dosa hotels with the same name. Had to ask some local shop owners to finally land in this hotel. Taste was ok, nothing to brag about it, may be hot summer made the dosa batter little more sour than expected. The standard taste of potato Bhaji served with this dosa wasn’t tasty, very average. May be avoid visiting these places in the evenings of hot days.

For the first time I tried benne dose was at this place so excitement was quiet der. I ordered single benne dose for which they charge ₹50/- and I was served benne dose with palya and a bit spicy coconut chutney. It was tasty dose and I was tempted for another dose but I settled with one only. Full 5/5 reviews. This place had decent crowd when visited in afternoon 2 pm. 1 plate khali dose costs ₹50 with 3 yummy doses

It's Not Good taste, when we visit & serving chatni is too delayed, they only giving Dosa not caring about chatni. I don't like. Opposite private bus stand benni Dosa Excellent
