Darshan Grande Lodge (Rooms)

Let me try and explain the absolute joke that is this place: At the reception, I was charged 2000 for an AC room. The ended up speaking to a person from my neighbouring room and he got the room for 1.6k( which is the actual price shown on the site and apps). I was basically overcharged for the same room. The management and staff have no interest in working or providing service. I had asked for a plate so I can eat food. The service guy said, and I quote “I’ll have to get up, go, look for a plate upstairs. There’s no one there right now to do it” while he sat on the chair near the elevator. I asked for a bottle of water, the service guy tried to extort money for that too. I told them the door isn’t locking, the shower isn’t working, but no response at all. I had spoken to a lady from the management to extend for 4 hours at a charge of half a day ie 1000rs. Even this was denied during checkout and the person said “not possible, I got no information from ma’am.” I asked him to call her and confirm. He said he will not do that. Then he tells me to pay 1600 extra, which is when I was confirmed that I was overcharged the previous day. These people are crooks. They don’t deserve one penny for the horrible service they provide, but unfortunately, they have a good location, which is just a few hundred feet from the railway station entrance.

One of the worst lodge in Davanagere and staff behaviour is very rude. Everytime I have to beg for complementary water bottle and other things. After request also not providing complementary water bottle. Reception Staffs behaviour like owner of the lodge. When i asked owner number for several time they denied to give everytime. Room fan sounding like worst and cockroach is running around the room. Room is full of cegrate smell and toilet is worst. Think before lodge.

Worst service ever. Hot Drinking water is not even provided for 1500 rs tarrif. Never stay in this hotel. You will regret it big time. Staff is also very rude.

Worst experience, Rooms are a cockroach territory. Open the door welcomed by lot of cockroaches moving. On walls, on door in bathroom. also in bed. It was not clean bathroom was stained. Asked to change the room but denied by staff.

From outside point of view it looks very asthetic ...but when it comes to rooms it was not that much of tidy n clean , water gun of washroom doesn't works properly ,make sure that u must check the the rooms before u enter , The prices also quite high ,but the receptionist n co workers are very friendly that's not the issues

Room and Bed was good but bathroom/restroom was not hygiene in terms of maintenance
