OYO Hotel Meridian

I would say this was one of the pathetic hotels I have ever been to. I will mention the reasons why I'm saying this. And don't miss the last point it's the most important point. 1. The location is the worst. You won't find any good restaurants to eat. You will find small dhabas where the hygiene is probably on the negative side. 2. Rooms. In photos you can see a big room. But in reality it's very small. 3. AC - the ACs are operated by the person sitting in the reception. You won't get any remote for that which means the AC is set at such a temperature that it will give you cold air for 5 min then after it will switch to normal air flow mode. 4. Washroom- dirty washroom. No Cleanliness . Even if you ask to clean them they would say that they were clean when the previous guest checked out. 5- bedsheets - torn and yellowish bedsheet was given 6 - TV - tv wasn't working. It took them about an hour to repair it in terms of connection. 7. Safety - so me & my father went outside to have dinner and came back around 9:45 pm. So when we were opening the door the people staying next to our room were having a heated argument and upon seeing us they closed the door and the person who closed the door was probably the one who was slapping the other person. But we didn't mind it because it's their matter. But the main thing happened at night around 1:30 am when someone was knocking at our door( it was not a simple knock it was kind of forcefully bashing our door ) and was kind of trying to break in. This happened literally 2 times and we even complained at the reception but he just told them that your side room is complaining about what you did. And after that it was all over but suddenly at 2:30 am he again started bashing our door and was forcefully trying to get into which we again complained but the thing was over in 10min. This was the most horrible thing that happened because this literally questioned us about our safety in the hotel. What would have happened I'm unable to digest the fact. The next day when we asked about what kind of people they were giving sta in their hotel to which they told us that we don't know. Like really. If you wanna risk your life then go ahead.

Here i am given Average marks to hotel meridian, foe service we have update each and every three to four reminder, rooms service was medium , location near railway station , best selection in this area cheapest then other, Network was not working condition, other facilities are not given himself, given after we reminder two to three times , staff behaviour was very polite , safety wise average , walkability for other facility like auto garden station was near by 0.5 km so its too good, laundry was available but its take too much charge then outsider alao they toom three daya doe return , bill given hand written not computerised bill copy, water charged separately, given mineral water without charge its without seal packing .

I went there for one of my best friend's marriage, we loved the staff service, food quality and especially chai which was 4 times a day. Rooms are specious, but the washroom is okay okay. Good hotel near tatanagar railway station Overall good, but not quite, you will be Little disturbed by the service man for chai, breakfast, lunch dinner etc..

Very good hotel and attached restaurant. Good quality and spacious rooms along with well behaved staffs. Food quality of this restaurant is very good, also of enough quantity. Parking for vehicles is available and it's safe and under roof. It's affordable as per price and their offerings. Only one downside, geyser or hot water facility is not available.

Good for a single day stay for those on travel to long distances. Room was not maintained much. Even the cleanliness was a question here. Night there was mosquito problem and could not sleep well. Geyser was not working. Better stay somewhere else than this.
