Unjustifiable Pricing & Unacceptable Service at The Green Hotel I had the misfortune of dining at The Green Hotel for two lunches and one dinner during my week-long stay in the same building. While the veg thali itself was standard, the pricing for extra rice at ₹30 is simply abnormal, especially when the thali costs only ₹60. This is a clear case of exploitation. However, the most significant issue, and the primary reason for this low rating, is the utterly unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of the owner and staff. They display a complete lack of concern for their customers. On multiple occasions, my simple requests, such as for a water bottle, were met with indifference, even though there were no other options available nearby and I was a resident of their own hotel building. Their refusal to assist with change, despite being a paying guest, further highlights their disregard. Throughout my meals, I observed a consistent pattern of staff treating customers as if they were a burden. This level of unmannerly conduct is unacceptable in any service establishment. It's clear they have no interest in providing even basic courtesy, let alone good service. Avoid The Green Hotel if you expect fair pricing and respectful treatment.

Not a great experience at all their taste of food varies from day to day and the uncle that sits at the old restaurant is very rude and has hearing issues so he'll yell at you if you bother him and if you want to pay through UPI they'll take you to either the hotel side so you can pay or the new restaurant side where the sound box is not a good experience personally I wouldn't recommend you to go here you can go to sagar hotel they'll treat you much better and offer much better food then this place

I used to eat here in my childhood,when I was staying in dumka. Now recently two three times I visited here and realised the hotel owner and staffs are full of arrogance now. They don't care about customer. They are just earning money somehow that's it. Ambience is worst. Food quality is too cheap ,too much oily and it always seems that they are serving old food. If you complaint,they shout you to go and eat somewhere. Even today I was taking noodles as parcel. They took money and give the parcel. I asked whether you have given spoon or not. they told no, we don't give.Like seriously ...someone is ordering noodles to eat from hand.After arguing for so long ,they accepted that they don't have spoons right now. It would be so simple if they have earlier told this only when asked.But no ...old uncle has earned enough money to show arrogance. I bet you guys ,with this behaviour you are not going to attract good customers.be ready for downfall.

I had lunch there for two days, and dinner for once, though I stayed in same building for around a week. Their veg thali is standard, but the price they ask for extra rice is abnormal. Rs. 60/- for veg thali and Rs. 30/- for extra rice. The another reason of giving a star is the behavior of the owner and staff. They don't bother if you ask for water bottle and surrounding nothing is available and if you don't have change, even it doesn't matter you stay in their hotel; they just don't care. They behave like you are the burden for them. During the eating of my food I've observed that they treat customers unmannerly.

Worst experience ever I order chola batora but they didn't serve pickle with it and onion too when I asked for it they told me to pay extra for it ₹10 for a few slices of onion means I pay ₹100 for a plate + 10 for few slices of onion rather I will be purchasing 250gm of onion for ₹10 at a grocery shop and eat and batora tastes like eating a kachori and staff behavior was full of attitude I would never suggest anyone to visit here.

Small portion size and taste just average, so not worth the prices. They even charge extra for onions, which is complementary in all restaurants.
