Very beautiful and well maintained property. Rooms are spacious. Food was good too. Select mountain view room while booking. Staff is helpful. If you wish to visit Shalimar garden it's just 10 mins walking distance. You can sit in the lawn and enjoy your tea while watching sunset. Recommended in budget.

We stayed at Hotel Alhamrah in Shalimar, Kashmir for 2 days with friends , the experience was absolutely wonderful. We have stayed at several places in Kashmir before, but this was by far the best. The taste of the food was incredible, especially the breakfast and dinner buffets! A huge thank you to the entire kitchen team and the hotel staff for their amazing hospitality and delicious food. If you are visiting Kashmir and want to experience the true, authentic taste of delicious food, Hotel Alhamrah is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!

"We stayed at Hotel Alhamra on June 25, 2026, and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The environment was beautiful, and the staff was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. A special shoutout to the kitchen and F&B team—the breakfast buffet was fantastic, especially the fresh fruits, delicious juices, and the amazing variety of food. Everything was exceptionally flavorful, and the service was top-notch. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We cannot wait to visit Hotel Alhamra again very soon!"

We had a wonderful stay in alhamra very pleasant environment, amazingly amazing staff at front office specially Mr. Umer, very helpful pleasing personality smiling always. Buffet was also good for both veg n non vegetarians. Overall everything was very nice very amazing. Thanks for making my friends and family happy and unforgettable memories in kashmir. Blessings 🙌
