Hotel Chinar Inn

My recent stay at Hotel Chinar Inn was amazing!! The hotel is just at the heart of the city.The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated. The food at the restaurant was worth ordering.The staff was friendly and eager to assist and the check-in process was swift. The hotel’s central location is a major plus as It was easy to navigate around the city, and I appreciated the convenience of having everything close by. Overall, my stay at Chinar Inn was pleasant and met most of my needs. The convenient location and friendly staff were definite highlights. I would recommend this hotel to tourists and business travelers looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of the city.Much recommended!!

I recently stayed at the Chinar Inn, which is conveniently located close to Lal Chowk, with all the basic necessities nearby. The food served is tasty and the staff are exceptionally cooperative The Sardarji manager at the reception was exceptionally helpful. I needed to use a desktop computer to fill out some forms and also needed assistance with recording a video for an online medical purpose. Despite these being last-minute requests, he didn't hesitate to support me in every possible way. Recognizing that it was my first visit to Srinagar, he also suggested some wonderful places to visit and explore. I truly appreciate his assistance and wish him all the best.

Hello my name is Zarifah and I am from Bangladesh. This hotel is very good. Specially the staffs and receptionist are really friendly and helpful. They are so humble. The location is also very good. Everything is near the hotel. It's a very reasonable hotel. This hotel also has restaurant. The food was good. You can find this hotel very near to lal chowk and the main market. It's great value for money, with decent rooms and food. The disadvantage is it's service. The property is recently acquired by Shivoham hospitality. The staff is not aware what problems are there in any alloted room, we needed to shift our room, due to odour in washroom. The charging points are very less, instead of water bottles, they provide filtered water which installed on first floor. There is no place to sit in the reception area, we need to stand only if we are waiting for a cab or something. The food qwality is ok, hotel needs to add different options for veg. This hotel has a great potential to improve the services and overall stay experience. I'm hoping that the management will take serious look into overall hospitality and user experience.

Overall the stay was moderate due to some following reasons: 1. We had to ask for the basic aminities like towel, kattle, fresh dustbin, tv service. They didn't provide these by themselves, we had to ask for them everytime. 2. There was no water in the taps early in the morning, again we had to call the manager since no one was there at the reception at 7am. 3. They didn't accept online payment, saying they are in urgent need of cash. For that I had to go to the ATM to withdraw a big amount of money. At the time of returning change of Rs. 100/-, they gave me a torn up note which i refused to accept. They tried to convince me to accept the torn up note as if it's very petty to ask for a good one. Although the staffs were prompt, but we had to ask for the basic services again & again otherwise they just simply ignore. This was kind of annoying.

Very very helpful staff. Especially Manish, Rashid and Simranjeet Singh were very responsive, courteous and helpful. Excellent food - we had breakfast and dinner at this place. Nutritious and delicious. Room service available. Great location. Very close to markets. You can also get taxi or auto arranged through the front desk. Clean rooms - you get what you pay for. Management understands and speaks english.

Excellent hotel for budget travellers. Brilliant location and friendly staff, decent food. This was my second visit and we saw many improvements in terms of service. Good job.

Terrible experience....do not ever book this hotel if you dont want to ruin your kashmir trip.....staff is totally irresponsible , they dont even provide hot water in chilling cold ... miss management at its peak.... finally they tell us to use staff's washroom.... totally dirty washrooms...this is totally unacceptable......dont go ever to this hotel with your family....looking forward to put a complaint in tourism department...
