Disappointing Stay - Basic Amenities Missing & Unfair Charges My recent stay at Hotel Soft Petal in Srinagar was incredibly disappointing. From the very beginning, basic amenities were lacking. I had to constantly request hot drink water, and the provision of bath water in sub-zero temperatures (-3 degrees Celsius) was a major concern. Furthermore, I was unfairly charged a hefty penalty for damages that occurred while I was not even in the room. A short circuit, likely an electrical issue, resulted in damage to the bed, bedsheets, electric blanket, and pillow. Despite this incident not being my fault, the hotel insisted on charging me for these items. To add to the frustration, essential items like bath towels, a dustbin, and even a proper shop were not provided. This significantly impacted my overall comfort and enjoyment of the stay. I strongly advise against staying at Hotel soft Petal. The lack of basic amenities, unfair charges, and overall poor service made this a truly unpleasant experience.

*Terrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel!* I recently stayed at Hotel Soft Petal for four days, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel. I want to give negative stars, but unfortunately, no options are available. Lack of basic amenities: There were no facilities for drinking water, you have to pay for it. They won't provide towel and soap on a daily basis. You have to beg it from their reception only because they dont have landlines in the room. Food: The food was terrible and often inedible. The food options were very limited, and what was available was cold and tasteless. The dining area was dirty, and the tables were not promptly cleared or cleaned. Rude Staff: The staff at this hotel were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Any request or query was met with hostility and indifference. It felt like they were doing us a favor by merely doing their jobs. Lack of Electricity: To make matters worse, there were frequent power outages. The hotel had no backup generators, leaving us without electricity for hours on end. You have to rely on your own power banks. Cleanliness: The room was dirty and poorly maintained. The carpets were stained, the bathroom had mold, and the sheets didn't seem fresh. Housekeeping was inadequate, and despite requesting a room clean-up, nothing improved. Overall, I would not recommend Hotel Soft Petal to anyone. The combination of poor cleanliness, bad food, rude staff, and lack of basic amenities like consistent electricity made my stay unbearable. "Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere."

Unfortunately we have stayed there for 4 days. Their staff behavior is very rude and their service is almost near zero. You have to even pay for water. No towel will be provided you have to ask to them to get you one towel and that also at the ground floor reception because there are no landlines in the room so for everything you have to rwception and "beg" to them. Electricity is available for like 5-6 hours. So never go there even if it fits your budget. At the end of the day you wan't feel like 'I'll go to hotel and rest'. Also to add their food is not good they say that they will give you vegetarian food but as soon as you enter in the "thing", you will smell something out vegetarian category and pray to leave that place.

My experience at Hotel Soft Petal was abysmal. Booked by Vacation Triangle and regretted it instantly. The room lacked basic amenities like soap, free drinking water, and towels. It was dirty, and the food was both terrible and insufficient. Electricity availability was for 4-5 hours. Zero stars from me

I want to give minus rating but one is must. So we stayed there for four days and the hotel is no where near called as a hotel it is morelike roadside dhaba as my experience, there are no service what so ever even they will charge you for water. There is no landlines in room so you will have to go to reception where u will find no one. So batter be ready for this thing before going there (if you are that much of unlucky). Their food is not any near to good except Alloo-Mattar sabji. And if you are vegetarian the you will be promised vegetarian food but as soon as you enter the building you will sense something cooking that is not your diet.🤮🤢. Never go there.
