I've stayed there ... the people were very very nice and welcoming .... the food was really amazing and tasty.... they made us feel home and specially the cook.. she was so good that she specially came to us to ask if the meal was upto our expectations... my experience was amazing

We stayed at Starling Houseboat, opposite Ghat No. 17, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the rooms were very comfortable. The food, including both dinner and breakfast, was exceptional—honestly, we did not find better food anywhere else during our trip across Kashmir. What truly made our stay special was the incredible hospitality. The hosts treated us like family and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail were beyond words. If you are visiting Srinagar and looking for a memorable stay on Dal Lake, I highly recommend Starling Houseboat. Thank you for making our Kashmir trip so special!
