The Sunrise Hotel

I have stayed here twice on road transits in a gap of few years. This review is about my recent stay. I found an extensively renovated hotel this time from my previous experience. The whole hotel and the rooms are tidier and cleaner. They look fresh now. The curtains, linens, towels are all fresh. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. Peaceful hotel. But the curtains in the rooms let light pass through them, which is a turn-down for me. I love black-out curtains in hotel rooms. Restaurant is decent with courteous staff and good service. Hotel staff is also good. Ample parking space, but open. I booked direct over phone at ₹3000 w/out breakfast. Although the hotel is decent, I feel the rate is high compared to the total appearance and presentation of the hotel.

Too expensive for the hotel room they provide , there was no proper room service and the room were not properly maintained there was no proper air conditioning in the room The breakfast provided by them had only 2-3 items which didn't taste good at all Even after paying a huge amount of money for a night we were not at all satisfied with the service. Would not recommend it to anyone

Outside look of the hotel is great. Rest the room’s quality for the price you’re paying is not good. Food quality and service is ok. The complementary breakfast is joke compared to similar or even low range hotels. Hotel Management needs to improve service and food quality. They have nice parking space. Edit After 2nd Visit: They offered and nice rooms. Rooms and washrooms have been updated. Didn’t use the breakfast this time as well so can’t comment but the room service and food was good.

It takes a lot of effort to disappoint me unfortunately this hotel tried super hard to let me down. 1. Let us start with the check in. I booked a suite in MMT but I was allotted a regular room. To the hotel’s credit they realised the mistake and wanted me to change the room but we refused. 2. When we asked for tea or coffee after a long drive. We were told they only have machine tea or coffee and no room service. 3. When I asked for a cup of tea at 7 am I was told they only serve it at 8 am with breakfast. With a little bit focus on service this place can go from mediocre to decent 🙏🏻

This is State Government owned property leased out on PPP mode (as we understand). The property is being well maintained and remodeled, located in Srikakulam, enroute to Arasavilli. We were returning from our darshan of Surya Bhagavan at Arasavilli. It is very neat except at wash area, which needs more attention by the operator. Food quality is also good. I didn't expect such good ambience and food at State owned hotel. One can surely visit this place.

Delicious food and friendly staff. Just one thing would suggest if price depends on the size of fish it would be good if the staff mention while taking the order.
