K Farms Homestay

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful place with our group of friends for a week! We rented Activa scooters to explore the nearby areas. The accommodation was fantastic, with AC, geyser, and spacious newly built rooms. But what made our stay truly special was the homely environment and exceptional food services provided by Manju aunty and Manu. They served delicious home-cooked meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and morning tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for those looking to spend a relaxing long weekend with great food. The homemade butter, aloo paratha, rajma, pickles, and more will be etched in our memories forever!

I stayed here for over a week and it changed me as a person. The moment I stepped in to this place, a sense of warmth and comfort took over. The hosts are a bunch of angels - humans and dogs collectively. They make you feel so loved and cared for that bidding them goodbye becomes difficult.||The place has an abundance of positive energy and it truly helps dissipate negative feelings and emotions. Like many others have experienced, this place offers a unique balance of privacy and community. You will be treated as a family member for as long as it makes you comfortable and you will be given ample privacy when you choose. Their heartfelt hospitality beats some of the world's best hotels and resorts where I have worked and stayed. Their quality assurance is outstanding and truly one of their many USPs.||The dogs are not pets but members of the family and despite their young age they are the best trained canines I've ever met. If you like dogs, they will love you enough to make it difficult for you to leave. They will protect you from any and everything. But most of all, they will never let you feel alone. If you don't like dogs, they will keep their distance and diligently do their job. It is quite unbelievable how well they have been trained.||The food deserves special mention. I missed a chance to meet the popular Manju Aunty on this trip, who is now quite famous for her cooking. And yet, I enjoyed the best food I've had in ages. The family treats you like one of them and feeds you with genuine love and respect. The food is very nutritious, cooked to the highest standards and using the best quality raw material. I have been working in hospitality for 2 decades and even I was impressed by their strict standards. I'm quite conscious of my diet, and yet there is always room for one extra Roti, Paratha or spoonful of dessert when you eat here!||The rooms are very smartly designed, very well appointed and extremely comfortable. I found every little detail in the room and bathroom intricately planned and then a bit more. Even though this place is a homestay, the quality of furniture, furnishings and fittings beats some of the best hotels and at extremely comfortable prices.||The place offers beautiful views of the serene surroundings and there are ample places to visit within walking distance, including the Ram Jhula and the river banks. Despite being located so close to multiple places of interest and being within walking distance from the market, it is as quiet and peaceful as it can get.||I now have a home in this place that I'll be returning to more often.

A very calm and peaceful stay. The room was spacious and clean. The host was very hospitable and friendly. She helped me out with specific directions to a place I wanted to visit. The location is 10 minutes walk from Ram Jhula. They also have adorable pet dogs. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

It is a place I thoroughly enjoyed and you should visit if you want to have some great food, rooms, talks and dog cuddles. Manu is a friendly host and has great values, manju aunty is the sweetest and have the smile to die for , and the dogs my god are amazing souls.

Anything Manju touches is very special. She is a beautiful human. I'm so happy to have come in to contact with her sweet soul. Originally I was in her other property and there was lots of noise, so after I asked if I would be able to leave she graciously offered me a really kind hearted offered me a room in k farms. Such a lovely property. I loved the 7 dogs that she has, don't be scared they are very nice and are receptive once they get to know you. The entire family were so kind, welcoming and helpful during my stay. It's one of the truly nice memories of my 1 year in India. Room I stayed was so well equipped, nice kitchen space with a fridge even, was nice to cook for myself when I had time. the host was very hospitable and friendly and helped out with every need that came up. i got invited to share dinner with them . manu - the host - is very well cultured and gave me great advise for rishikesh and knows a lot about the history of the place. the location is quiet, has a nice garden and if you love dogs you are more than welcome ;-) the rooms are simple furnished but clean and satisfy the need. from the terrasse you have a beautiful view over rishikesh/ram juhla and the location is close to mother ganga , the bridge or parmarth niketan where the yearly international yoga festival takes place.

Most of my lockdown was spent at this place. I have spent almost a year. The wifi speed is good. Around 22 Mbps. The food is homely. Just that Manju aunty keeps plying you with food the 7 dogs are cute . The owners have laundry service and a great location. They can help arrange for you forest safari, rafting yoga etc. Unlike other places i think they don't take commission from people whose service they recommend. From an Ayurveda message, to knowing the best waterfalls to telling you local stories to helping you with a temple tour they are super hosts. It's like living with your family.

This is a hidden gem in Ram Juhla. I can’t say enough positive things about my stay. The space is bigger than you’ll find anywhere else. It feels more like an apartment with sleeping space and kitchen! Big windows, garden, AC. Wi-Fi and secure gate without the sometimes challenging curfews found in the area. Perfect location near all ashrams and yoga schools restaurants and shopping. On-site you’ll find a pop up restaurant too! Manu and the family are wonderful and will make you feel at home immediately. If you are lucky enough to stay here you’ll be well cared for but if you prefer solitude you’re able to move independently. It’s ideal but you must be okay with dogs. There is a loving group of family dogs that will greet you as you come and go. I will be coming back as soon as I’m in Rishikesh again. This place feels like a second home and I will miss it. Until I return.
