Third class hotel. Illegally converted home to hotel. On 4th floor. No lift. Narrow passage staircase. Whole night mosquitoes will tear you apart. Extremely rude staff. Never ever stay here even if offered free

Please do yourself a favour, don't be as stupid as I was and try to book a room here. All good on the booking platform, but when I got there, the problems started. First, one of the men in the car repair shop had to call the owner, who then spoke to me and told me foreigners couldn't stay there. Second, he swore he had sent me messages stating the fact, which was not true as I hadn't received anything (and even if so, he would have said on the booking platform messaging system or would have stated it in the hotel description). Third, he said that, even if it was possible, he was fully booked for the night but could try and lodge me in another hotel and then go to his hotel for the remainder of the staying period AT QUADRUPLE THE RATE ON THE PLATFORM! (He said he had made a mistake when inputting the price on the booking platform, of course...). Fourth and last, I said I'd search for my own place and that the booking platform would get in touch with him to manage the situation. He asked me AS A FAVOUR to not inform the booking platform, as we both would incur in fees (untrue, I've gone through this situation 3 times in India in the space of 10 days and the affected party does not incur in fees). Needless to say, I ran for the hills. Very problematic situation, when someone tries to profit with lies and miscommunication.

A very good place if you are looking to stay here in Chembur. It's on the main road so you have easy access to food and street market/station is just 1km away from here. Overall a very good place!

Nice place to stay im Chembur area. Located in a good location. Entrance is not great but the stay is decent. Took terrace garden room. Spacious and has good privacy.

Pathetic experience. Light goes off during night multiple times. Can't cook food even though a pretty much decent setup is there. No parking.
