NillVery tastefully curated and maintained place truly reflecting rich culture of the city. Staff is very polite and coordinating. The breakfast was healthy, home cooked and very tasty, and the cleanliness within the room and everywhere else was top tier. This place is a must stay for unique blend of homely and regal vibes at the same time.

★★★★★The hotel is practically at the center of a market but once inside the hotel compound you will not feel it. The interior ambiance is amazing. Rooms big and spacious. You get the feeling of staying at a Palace but with modern facilities. House keeping very friendly. Owner very helpful. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Diner was nice.||Special note: We had to leave early and the manager was kind to get us some breakfast packed but the owner went out of the way to ensure that we did not just get packed breakfast for us/kids but a 3 meal course !! Thanks a lot

★★★★★This home stay property is in a building that is more then a hundred years old, stayed always within the current family, and that served as a school until they changed it into a hotel. The rooms are new but basic, have a lot of space and even a make-up table, the bathroom is new and very nice and the whole property is very clean. Lelita, the owner, is a very nice person and she offered us a free salad as we arrived hungry just after lunchtime, which we ate in the property courtyard in between the Hindu and Buddha shrines. They recommended and booked a guide for us and Chandra ended up being the best guide we have had in our complete stay in India. You can eat inhouse and we did so, but the meal is pretty basic in the rather uncosy breakfast room, it is only 600 Rps though. We brought our own bottle of wine and our portable speaker and enjoyed the meal. I would recommend this hotel as it is very special.

★★★★★We stayed at this heritage property last week and we were very happy with the service and personalised attention from each staff member and the host Mrs Lalita Phalke who takes a lot of effort to make our visit to Gwalior a special one! The rooms are big with renovated toilets and the food is home cooked, just what you need when you are traveling with a 2 year old baby! The staff also went out of the way to cook food for our baby at short notice which we really appreciate!

NillMy husband, 3 months old daughter and I, stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights and are glad about our choice of stay! The property is beautiful and has retained its old world charm. The veranda has a warm picturesque setting, reception area has a royal interior and so do the rooms. There's something different for breakfast everyday. One can order other meals from a nearby restaurant named "Cook's", which serves delicious food! Most importantly, Ms. Lalita, the owner, demonstrated unforgettable hospitality throughout our stay and her entire staff is great at their job too! All our requests were fulfilled promptly and with a smile. By the end of our trip, it pretty much felt like a home-stay at some relatives place to me! Would totally recommend it to anybody visiting Gwalior.

NillNestled amidst the quaint charm of history, the Krishnayan Heritage hotel we had the pleasure of staying in was a delightful retreat into the past. From the moment we entered, the grandeur of its architecture and the warmth of its ambiance enveloped us in a nostalgic embrace. The rooms, adorned with elegant period furnishings, exuded an old-world charm while still providing modern comforts. Each corner whispered stories of a bygone era, transporting us to a time when chandeliers glittered and vintage tapestries adorned the walls. The staff, well-versed in hospitality, ensured every need was met with a genuine smile and impeccable service. The culinary journey was a delectable exploration of local flavors, served in a dining area that seemed to echo with the laughter of generations past. What truly set this heritage hotel apart was its attention to preserving history. The museum-like displays, showcasing artifacts and photographs, added an educational dimension to my stay, making it not just a vacation but a cultural experience. This heritage hotel is not just a place to stay; it’s a time capsule, preserving the essence of a bygone era, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow travellers seeking a blend of history, luxury, and genuine hospitality.
