The mana - Heritage stay _ Chengazhimattam Mana

It's a heritage stay so if you keep your expectations little low it will be a great stay for you. Rooms are a little small, but otherwise the location is serene and very peaceful. Located by a river, you can hear a lot of birds chirping and enjoy your time even feeding the fishes.

Such a wonderful experience. We stayed 4 nights and didn’t want to leave. We love peace and quiet and here, 5 minutes away from a main road you are hidden away in the middle of the countryside. Huge trees and vegetation make it so cool and the old house is unforgettable. We came to see a local temple festival and our hosts took us there and showed us around and treated us as family friends. Recommended to anyone who wants an authentic experience

Awesome experience, built up 300 old house, truly authentic construction. Loved staying in this property... Surrounded by lush nutmeg trees. Lovely hospitality with homely food.. Bit hot in the night , otherwise memorable stay... Natural pool is good. Recommended for those who know swimming.. Room was good and ideal for small family, solo traveller...

As the name suggest itz a Heritage stay In midst of 100yrs old nutmeg trees....a 300years old Kerala style home fully furnished and we'll equipped rooms. Silence, the River side breeze and shade of nutmeg trees makes it really memorable one. Peace of mind guaranteed Excellent and pleasing owner.

Excellent place for a peaceful stay with a green ambient surrounding. Located near the famous Meenachil River of Arundhathi Roy. Very old heritage building and land. Giant trees, rare species of plants and trees. Can have a river bathing if interested. The caretaker and wife are very cooperative and helpful. Mobile range and Google maps won't work here. Though the food served is vegetarian it's quality is mesmerizing and a treat to the taste buds. The quantity is also sumptuous. You can also have Swiggy Zomato also. You can have a near forest like feeling around. Rooms are cool and comfortable. There's no Air-conditioner but very cool and comfortable in the 300 year old wooden house. Families and honeymoon couple will find this stay mind blowing.

Wonderful place! I loved the natural and traditional scenery and there was a beautiful river nearby.The environment felt safe and the food was prepared fresh and it tasted delicious. The host was friendly and was accommodating. It was convenient to travel to the cities. I highly recommend this place!
