Hotel sri annapurneshwari family dhaba

Food is very good,searched for many dhabas but finally here,egg burji 9/10,chicken masala 6/10,egg fried rice 8/10,we also took parcel. Reasonable price. I suggest not to go with family.

Food is too costly here.. usually long distance buses stops here because bus drivers getting free meals at the cost of passengers. This dhaba won't give you even a basic drinking water for free, if you ask free water they deliberately provide you bore water which is impossible to drink, so they make you pay for botted drinking water. You will only get maida roti not wheat chapati here..

This place came as a relief! On the Madras Mumbai highway just few kilometres before Chitradurga you can find this place, i said "came as relief" as there are not many food joints or dhabas on this highway, especially if you are travelling from Madikeri towards Devanagere or further towards Maharashtra. So we were lucky to find this one and could get to eat something. Well i loved the food, we just ordered Daal tadka, rotis, paneer butter masala (very tasty) and jeera rice, all of that was super tasty and had the perfect dhaba taste which anyone expects. The daal tadka was a clear winner and i specially loved the tadka which was full of fried whole garlic, its a recommendation. So the food was great and aswell the service, we barely had to wait for our order which was served hot and fast, Shri Annapureshwari has a good sit-out place for families. With that said they do not have clean toilets which matters the most so over all a good place to eat for the dhaba style food and comes as a saviour if you are travelling on this highway which lacks dining choices.

As I was about to take a first bite , I found a cockroach in my dish. I ordered egg fried rice and was very disappointed as it was filled with bugs and lots of salt. I would never ever eat at this trash like restaurant in my entire life.
