I recently stayed at this homestay and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The location is also ideal, making it easy to order food and groceries nearby stores which was a great convenience. Also the helper was friendly , adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for enjoyable stay.

Its been a while that I visited here and this review has been long due. I stayed here twice over 3 years. I loved how beautifully the space is done up with small decor times. It is a nice, spacious acco with all necessary basic amenities and situated at a good & central location. The second time we visited there was construction happening in the vicinity that caused rodent infestation but it was taken very seriously by the owner and we really appreciate that. The caretaker Ravi Thapa is a very courteous person and has helped us with breakfast and other supplies seamlessly.

I couldn't believe what a cute and quiet haven Rupis homestay was, especially considering it is in the heart of Dalanwala. Ravi, the caretaker was always just a phone call away. And so polite. There was also parking available. A great beauty parlour right next door. The kitchen is well equipped too, which gave us a lot of independence. The best part? The rain from the balcony in that swing chair ! Can't wait to go back.

We had a very comfortable stay at Rupi's Retreat. The location was perfect for us. The house was clean and we felt very much at home. The Hostess, Rupi, was prompt, caring and friendly and always ready to help. We had a memorable stay and would be glad to do it again.

OMG - this is hands-down the most amazing home-away-from-home. I travel a LOT and came-upon Rupi's retreat by chance. Just entering the property gave us a feeling of calm - beautiful gardens, flowers, trees..... We rented both floors. Each was truly a retreat. The two apartments are comfortable, have all the amenities (fast wifi was a boon!) one could want and are decorated beautifully. We sat for hours in the balcony upstairs and the garden. While in the city, the whole space has the ambience of a nature resort - so tranquil. The option of a really good cook (and a fully equipped kitchen) added to the comfort. Highly recommend :-)

Stayed at Rupi’s retreat last June. Very colourful and beautifully done up place. Loved the greenery around. Her kitchen is well quipped and we felt very much at home. Location is awesome and one can walk around the peaceful neighbourhood .

Rupi’s retreat is truly a haven away from the drudgery of life. A small, cosy place sheathed by a ginormous tree in the front yard, the rustic chairs in the balcony, a comfortable swing overlooking the street, artistically done walls and tasteful decor, everything about it just keeps bringing you back. Not the forget the hospitality offered by Ms Rupi Kaur, that too when she is hundreds of kilometres away from Dehradun. She ensures that your stay is as enjoyable as it can be, and this she achieves with the help of her home stay caretaker, Mr Ravi who is unquestionably at your service. What more can you want??
